The public school lottery system in SF actually worked in our favor! Stephen got placed in our 2nd choice school. I couldn't be happier. Yes, it's a 7:50 a.m. start time...but it's close and we can take the N to school. The relief is enormous. We don't have to shell out money for private preschool for another year, we can take our time in deciding if we should move, we can even move in SF...And best of all? If we stay here, Refaela is a shoe-in when she goes to K.
